S. Balbir was a playback singer in the Hindi film industry from the 1950s through the 1970s.
While never became a big name, he did have some memorable numbers like “Ainve Duniya” (“Jaagte Raho”, 1956), “Yeh Desh Hai Veer Jawaanon Ka” (“Naya Daur”, 1957) and “Jee Chata Hai Choom Loon” (“Barsaat Ki Raat”, 1960).
