Pandit Indra was a lyricist and dialogue writer in Hindi films, primarily active during the 1940s and 50s. Some of the films he has written lyrics for are “Bharthari” (1944), “Piya Ghar Aja” (1947), “Mitti Ke Khilaune” (1948), “Man Ka Meet” (1950), “Mr. Sampat” (1952), “Do Dulhe” (1955) and “Makkhee Choos” (1956).
